Amenity Highlight
Rocky Mountain hosts a wide variety of lessons including the First Step beginner lesson to teach all the skills needed to belay for a partner on our 65ft. climbing walls. The bouldering area has something for everyone, there is over 150 feet of different ‘problems’ to solve. Bouldering is climbing on shorter walls without a rope or harness, following different colours to get to the top. In addition to all our climbing walls we also have a café where we whip up espresso-based drinks as well as artisanal flatbreads. While there have been many changes to the fitness industry during this pandemic, the hope is to be back to offering all climbing lessons and programs in the Fall! Calgary Climbing Centre
Situated right beside the Trans Canada on the way into Calgary, Calgary Climbing Centre’s Rocky Mountain location provides a climbing experience for all climbers, novice to advanced. This purpose-built facility hosts a wide range of different climbing experiences and lessons. Rocky Mountain is the flagship location for the Calgary Climbing Centre, there are 3 other locations operating throughout Calgary. The Calgary Climbing Centres aim to provide a welcoming environment for climbers of all abilities. The ClimbPark area is perfect for youth and beginners, it is focused on just climbing and having fun! This area is filled with different challenge walls including mazes, turning gears and giant hanging blocks. An hour in our ClimbPark is enough to tire out even the most energetic climbers.
